Time to rough it out through Sedona’s outback! Pink Jeep Tours’ Diamondback Gulch Tour is an exciting off-road 4×4 adventure that takes you down Sedona’s most rugged trails.
Your tour begins by meeting your personal tour guide and boarding one of our iconic, open air pink Jeep Wrangler tour vehicles. Your Pink Jeep Tours guide is both a professional driver and a highly-trained storyteller on all things Sedona including local history, wildlife, and geology. Pack your camera along with your questions because you’ll have time for both during your journey.
The adventure begins! Travel west of town, past spectacular red rock formations like Thunder Mountain, Lizard Head Rock and Boynton Canyon. Time to say goodbye to Sedona for now as you head out of town and into the Coconino National Forest. Look across the Verde Valley for a relaxing sight of Mingus Mountain, the Black Hills and the region’s big-country sky. Your tour guide will make sure you have plenty of time to take as many pictures as you want of these unparalleled views of the Southwest.
Hold on tight, because it’s time for your Diamondback Gulch Tour off-road adventure. Your trip launches down a section of trail called the Greasy Spoon. More than 100 years old, this section was once part of the wagon trail between Sedona and Prescott, then the capital of the Arizona Territory.
Did you know that the Verde Valley was once home to 50,000 head of Texas longhorn cattle? You can still see remnants of the old ranching days all along this trail. One example is Huntley Tank, one of the several watering holes dredged out by the ranchers to provide a drinking spot for their livestock. Today, sections of the Coconino National Forest are still used for grazing.
Now for the main attraction: The Diamondback Gulch itself. This deep ravine was cut into the landscape by running water. It’s amazing how your Pink Jeep Tour vehicle just crawls down one side of the gulch and out the other. These custom Pink Jeep® Wranglers were built for an adventure like this!
So hold on to your hats and get out your cameras because the Diamondback Gulch Tour was designed for photographers and rough-riders alike. Big views, rugged trails, and entertaining stories from your tour guide make this Pink Jeep Tours adventure fitting for the entire family.
The tour was everything I had hoped for my kids to experience and so much for myself as well. Gun for all ages.

The tour was beautiful and fun! My teenage kids thanked me several times and seeing them laugh was well worth it!! I'm a single mom on a budget and it's been a tough year for us but this will go in the memory book.! I'm not sure what Mike's last name was but he picked us up at Los Abrigados. He did a great job!
