Do your tours require hiking?

Most of our tours do not require hiking, although they do have picture stops where you will be getting out of the vehicle and doing short walks on uneven terrain.

Our Ancient Ruins tour does include a ¾ mile walk through the ruin site that takes approximately 45 minutes. If you are interested in hiking specifically, consider our 2.5  or 4 hour guided hiking tours.

Should we tip our guide, and if so how much?

It is customary to tip the guide, especially when they provide you with exceptional service. Gratuity is based on individual preference but we suggest 15% which is the industry standard. You may tip the guide in cash or have it added to your credit card.

Will there be other people on the tour?

Although our tours are intimate due to vehicle size (max of 6-9 people) there will likely be other guests on the tour. For information on reserving a private vehicle, see the reservations section of the FAQ.

Is there anything special we need to bring or wear?

Dress in clothing comfortable for being outdoors, keeping in mind that since we are in the southwest it is recommended to wear sun protection including hats and sunscreen year round. We -ask that you wear closed toed shoes suitable for walking on uneven terrain and bring bottled water with you. Don’t forget to bring a camera!

Can I bring a backpack or tripod?

Yes, however there is no storage space in our vehicles.  Anything you bring needs to fit comfortably in your lap throughout the tour.

Can I bring food or liquor?

Due to the bouncy nature of our tours, full meals or glass bottles are prohibited on the vehicle.  If necessary you are welcome to bring a small containable snack such as a granola bar. Due to Arizona law, alcoholic beverages are prohibited in our vehicles.

Are any items not permitted on your tours?

For the comfort of all guests, items prohibited include, but are not limited to, the following list:

Are reservations required?

While we do not require advance reservations we do have limited tour permits, and often sell out.  We highly recommend making reservations in advance for the best availability of our tours and departure times.

What time do your tours depart?

Our tours depart every hour on the hour starting at 7 am.  Our last tour of the day returns just after sunset.  All tour departure times are subject to availability.

What is your cancellation policy?

Pink Jeep has a 48-hour cancellation policy in order to receive a refund. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance will not be refunded.

Do you offer hotel pick-ups?

We offer hotel pick-ups in the Sedona area at no additional charge.  Depending on your hotel location and your choice of tour, pick-ups are scheduled either before or after your scheduled tour departure time.

For pick-ups scheduled before your tour departure time, you will be picked up at your hotel and brought to our office where you will check-in and meet your guide.  Your tour will start at the original time scheduled.

For pick-ups scheduled after your tour departure time, we will pick you up at your hotel enroute of your tour.  Your tour will start at the time you are picked up.  Please be aware that pick-up times vary, depending on your hotel location and are part of your tour time.

Can I reserve a private tour?

Yes, as long as you purchase all available seats on your tour vehicle, which may be up to 9 seats, depending on the tour. We also add a 15% gratuity on all seats for the guide. To reserve a private tour, call our customer service team at 928-282-5000.

For tours conducted in our open air Jeeps, there is no air conditioning or heating in these vehicles.  The Jeeps are equipped with canopies to shield you from the sun and we provide blankets during colder weather.

Exciting and entertaining. Brandon was our guide and he did a wonderful job and has a great personality. Highly recommend the Pink Jeep Tour as well as Brandon for a guide.

I think it was great we only had 6 people on our broken arrow tour and five people on the ancient ruins tour, and it made it very nice to be able to ask questions and hear everything that the tour guide was saying.

Laura, 22 Apr 2017

Was exciting and beautiful. A bit scary but not too much. Just enough to scream a little!

Laura, 22 Apr 2017

Had a great time. We will be booking a different tour for our next trip. to Sedona.

Ancient Ruins tour was interesting and fun. David did a great job! He was very informative and easy to talk with. We needed a gentle ride tour and this one worked out great. Great tour!

Matt, 22 Apr 2017

great tour. well planned and well run. we had a 'new' configuration jeep with the seats tiered and all facing forward and it was perfect. Pete did an excellent job of playing to us as an audience (4 kids in the jeep) and making it fun, and interactive. i would definitely recommend Pink Jeep in Sedona!

Great tour! Brandon was so knowledgeable, funny, and enthusiastic. It seemed like he had been giving tours for years. Would request him again in the future. The ruins site was stunning and it made such a difference to have a knowledgeable narration from an experienced guide to appreciate the nuances of the art and architecture. Thank you!

Krin, 21 Apr 2017

It was amazing. I had a lot of fun.

Charlotte, 21 Apr 2017

It was fun to bounce around on all of the rocks and see the mountains.

Aris, 21 Apr 2017

Great way to get an up close look at Sedona that you wouldn't see from your own vehicle.

Cara, 21 Apr 2017

Again, Brandon was FANTASTIC, my kids loved him. He was fun and knowledgable. But we were underwhelmed by the coyote canyons tour. Thought the video online made it seem like we would see more. The Broken Arrow tour that we did the following day was better.
