Tour Description:

What better way to see Sedona, AZ than from high above the city. Pink Jeep Tours’ Scenic Rim Tour is a rugged and bumpy adventure that takes you through one of the most beautiful cities of the U.S. The name says it all: The Scenic Rim Tour lets you explore Sedona’s red rock beauty from the edge and beyond.

How will your tour begin? That’s up to you. Let Pink Jeep Tours pick you up from one of the many resorts or hotels in Sedona, or, meet your tour guide at the Pink Jeep Plaza in uptown Sedona. No matter what, you’ll find a custom-built, open air Pink Jeep Wrangler tour vehicle waiting for you. In the driver’s seat is your personal tour guide for today’s adventure. Your tour guide is not only an expert driver but also a great storyteller on Sedona’s history, wildlife and geology. Have a question? Your professional Pink Jeep tour guide has the answer!

Your Pink Jeep Tours vehicle climbs Schnebly Hill Road, as it wanders through Bear Wallow Canyon. All the while, you’ll be listening to how Sedona earned its name as well as learning about the Schneblys. You’ll pass by the Munds Wagon Trail once used during pioneer days to carry Sedona’s local produce up to the mountain town of Flagstaff. Your tour guide will point out Mount Wilson, Sedona’s highest point and an extinct volcano. You’ll even learn the names of all those spiky desert plants along the roads.

Feeling like a great photo opportunity is around the bend? Truth is, you’re right! As your Pink Jeep Tours vehicle climbs towards the top of the Mogollon Rim, it always seems like the next amazing view is better than the last. You can count on this: There isn’t a bad view during your adventure.

There’s more to see during the Scenic Rim Tour. Stop at the Merry Go Round, an incredible outcropping of red rock often used for music videos, Hollywood movies and weddings. Pull over for camera shots at Schnebly Vista. Here you can look down all of Sedona as well as across the Verde Valley to the Black Hills of Jerome, AZ. Want even more adventure? Take the extended 2.5 – 3 hour Scenic Rim tour and weave through a lush forest of ponderosa pine trees while you 4×4 across a field of lava rocks.

The Scenic Rim Tour gains over 1,500 feet (450 m) in elevation during the excursion. You’ll feel as if you’re on top of the world. The Scenic Rim Tour blends captivating storytelling and camera-worthy moments into an adventure that will leave you breathless. No wonder this Pink Jeep Tours excursion in Sedona, AZ is so popular among locals and tourists alike.

The tour was great, Randy made it so memorable. We toured with 4 other people in the jeep from different backgrounds and we all loved and appreciated Randy's stories, education, sense of humor, and safety precautions. If I had any friends visiting Sedona, I would recommend specifically taking a tour with Randy at Pink Jeeps! It shows he loves his job! Loved the sights we got to see with the education in addition. Something we never would have experienced if we would have...

Paul James is a great asset to your company! I hope that when we bring our 2 sons back for a tour we can request him to take us on our 4 wheel adventure!
